My first morning truly missing my car
This morning I get on the 77 to take me to red line, and my pass works just fine. I get to Belmont, and board the train as normal with no problems. I board my shuttle to work, and my pass is invalid. How does a pass become invalid after I had just used it twice with no problems? I miss my shuttle, I go back into the station to talk to the woman in the station office, she just tells me my pass is invalid, and provides no other assistance. I sign into my CTA account on my phone, and everything is as it should be. I get cash and buy a temporary pass so I can get to the next bus to my job.
The saga will continue when I’m able to spend an hour on the phone with CTA customer service, because I’m pissed.
