Change
It’s been dark for almost two hours on December 3rd, 2012, and it is 70 degrees outside. I have my windows completely open, and a fan on in the apartment. It is physically pleasurable, but it perturbs my mind. I will appreciate this day and alter my attitude as soon as I’m buried in an upper Midwestern snowstorm again, but it should be cooler than this at this time of year in Chicago. I’ll just enjoy the breeze regardless.
