Recently I came across an interior photo of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Midway Gardens (1913-1929) which stood at Cottage Grove and 60th and was reminded of a geometric mosaic I photographed at the Powhatan Apartments (4950 S Chicago Beach Dr.) during the CAF’s Open House Chicago.
I can only imagine how beautiful this must have been in color…
