The Science of Lucid Dreaming

The guys at AsapSCIENCE continue to tee up and hit home runs all the way into the cheap seats. I’m in the group of people who don’t remember their dreams (although I certainly have dreams, just no recall).

The idea of controlling or influencing your dreams, lucid dreaming, is very cool. Of course, as the line between dreams and reality blurs in lucidity, things can get a little freaky.

Anyone experienced this?

I occasionally have a lucid dream. Sometimes in a dream I ask myself, “Is this a dream?” According to how the dream’s going for me I’ll either continue or wake myself up.

I’ve always had flying dreams. Well actually they are swimming in the air dreams. A few nights ago in a dream I needed to get somewhere faster than possible. I thought, “Hey. This is a dream. I’ll just air swim over there.”

And I did.
