Always stand your ground when you’re standing on a bus. That is, awkwardly stagger your ground, because that is most likely the best you can do with the bus driver constantly slamming on the brakes like they’re trained to do. If more people start to collect in the aisle, you are in no way obligated to make your way farther back, and you especially don’t have to stand in the raised area in the back. Consider it a demilitarized zone.
